SCHOOL RULES

  • Each student must carry his almanac and identity card to school every day.
  • A student should affix his/her photograph and write the required information, duly signed by a parent in the space provided for in the almanac.
  • Students who come to school on their own should reach the school before school timings.
  • Students are not allowed to bring mobile phone to school.  If they do so, it will be confiscated.
  • Changing of classrooms between periods should be done in an orderly manner and silently.  Students should not unnecessarily leave their class at the end of every period.
  • Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed.  The school uniform should be worn on all working days and for all school functions. Students who are slovenly dressed or not in uniform will sent home.  Use of hair gel is not allowed.  Wearing low waist trousers is forbidden.
  • All boys (expect Sikhs) must keep their hair short.  Girls must tie their hair neatly with a black band/ribbon.
  • Non Sikhs boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.
  • No books (other than text book or library book), magazines or paper should be brought to the school.
  • Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is not allowed.
  • Students who come to school escorted should never leave before the escort arrives in case of delay, they should report to the school office.
  • Parents and guardians may meet the teachers during the specified time.
  • Students are not allowed to use the school telephone without the permission of the receptionist.  They will not be called to answer phone calls during class hours.
  • Students using the school bus will maintain discipline in the bus.
  • The school does not permit the celebration of birthdays or festivals within the school campus. Parents are advised not to send sweets etc. with children for celebration of birthdays.  Exchange of gifts is not allowed.  Birthday bumps are punishable offence.
  • Do not spoil or pluck flowers.
  • Students are expected to respect school property.  No student should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others.  Any school property damaged even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the principal.
  • The Student should invariably be polite wherever they go.  They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct.  They should greet their teachers when they meet them.  Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences.
  • Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instruments such as knives etc. to the school or any kind of object that can cause injury to others.
  • Students are advised to keep their class room, school building and campus as clean as possible and throw leftover into the dustbins.
  • The school is not responsible for goods lost.  It is not advisable to bring valuable articles (like expensive watches or fountain pens) to the school.
  • The school provides education from Pre-School to XII.  Therefore, it is expected that the juniors be treated with love and affection.  While the junior show all respect to their senior.  There should perfect harmony between the students.
  • Fees can be paid by Cash/Cheque/Demand Draft within the stipulated time.
  • No student shall indulge in any of the following practices, namely:
    • Writing on the shirts or uniform.
    • Spiting in or near the school building.
    • Smoking
    • Any form of gambling
    • Use of drug or intoxicants, except or prescribed by a registered medical practitioner.
    • Rowdyism and rude behavior.
    • Use of violence in any form.
    • Casteism , communalism or un-touchability in any form.
    • Bursting of crackers or throwing colour on one another/ or painting faces within the school premises.
    • Under no condition is a student permitted to bring mobile phone if confiscated it will not returned.
    • A vaccination record must be produced at the start of the year if the child is not completely immunized.

 ATTENDENCE

  • It is compulsory for all students to complete 75% attendance before every exam to make them eligible to sit for the examination.  In case attendance is short students will not be eligible for promotion/ any academic award.
  • Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than ten consecutive days renders the student  payable to have his/her name struck of the role readmission may be granted only on.
  • All children are expected to attend school on the opening day after every vacation and must be present before closing for the vacation.  Those absent because of sickness must be present a medical certificate within three days.
  • A child returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a fitness certificate from a doctor.
  • Students suffering from any one of the following disease must observe the prescribed quarantine before returning to class.
    • Chicken Pox – Till complete falling of scabs.
    • Cholera – till the child is completely well.
    • Measles – Two weeks after the rash disappears.
    • Mumps – Until the swelling has gone.
    • Whooping Cough – Six weeks
    • Jaundice – Six weeks
  • Only those students will be put on duty who represent the school while playing a tournament a sport or participate in any other event.  Any student not representing the school will have no such claim.
  • Students using unfair means during examination will face disciplinary action as decided by the school authorities.
  • Student who fail in two subjects will not promoted to the next class.
  • Students who failed in one subject may be allowed a compartment for reappearing in the subject to his previous result in terminal exam.
  • A student will not corporate or indulge in any act of violence committed by other students which will harm any student physically or mentally.
  • Students will not do anything to disturb the principals and norms of school discipline.
  • School rules can be changed without prior notice or reason.
  • No attendance would be given to our student during period of suspension.
